Oh My Goshgollygeewhillikers. I have seven blogs now. SEVEN! Two are private, but one of those will go public soon. It’s going to be an extension of the blog I have through my school’s online paper. I call it The Writer’s Room and my focus is writing and what I have learned about the business of writing, oftentimes as I learn it. I haven’t decided if I should make it public now with our current online paper format or wait until we switch formats. Probably sooner, because I really don’t know when we will even figure that new format out. There is some disagreement in the class about how much serious news we should do and how much should have an opinionated slant. We are discussing this because the site that currently hosts us, a site that hosts many college papers, is going to start charging to host and we don’t think its worth staying. We want to be experimental in what we do, but I am is the opinion we need to maintain our news, at least to some extent, in whatever we do. The class after all is News Production. 

Has anyone else noticed that as nice as the new way of customizing our blogs is, there seems to be fewer theme options and the themes are not as customizable as they used to be? I could swear that the theme I have on this blog was not even an option as I went through themes. Or is that my imagination?
