Do you think if you spoke to your instructor privately they would make an exception? Self consciousness seems a valid reason.

Actually, I did talk to my instructor today (I have two classes with him) and he doesn’t like how the same people are used as talent over and over. Part of the problem is there aren’t as many women in the class as men and instead of writing more men roles for things people keep writing too much for women. He said he’d be fine if the guys did drag. I also told him, I’m frustrated because I am in the class to learn how to use all the equipment, and I’ve only used the cameras and the audio board. But I don’t think the girl in question is going to want me doing one of her scripts again.  And the teacher didn’t think i was too rude, he feels she needs to be taken down a peg anyway. She’s too controlling and bossy, even with him.
