This is… it’s just… wow.

Go check it out on my new blog Every Single Stitch.  I am really pleased with how it turned out.

Dr. Who challenge Day…

Okay, so I am bad at this every day thing, so here’s the catch up.

Day 7: Favorite piece of music

Ummm…the opening theme, I guess.  Never have thought of Dr. Who in a musical way.  So, yeah, the theme.

Day 8: A who related photo that makes you happy

I don’t know who Maeve is, her pics are posted on the BBC site, but everyone is smiling even if they are being chased by Daleks.

Day 9: A who related photo that makes you angry/sad

Nope.  Couldn’t find one.

Day 10: A Who related photo you took.

Yeeeaaaahhhh, not so much.

Day 11:  Your Favorite Season

Season Twenty-six.  The last of the classic episodes.   Storylines were improving, Ace’s character was changing in several ways, its too bad BBC ended it there.

Day 12: Whatever tickles your fancy

That “You-sound-crazy-are-you-dangerous” look people who have never seen Dr. Who give when they hear us talking about it. It’s always good for a laugh.

Day 13: Your favorite villain

I would have to say The Master.  While he could often be campy, when he was good he was oh so bad.  He is a dark mirror to the Dr.  An outsider on Gallifrey he seems to be as obsessed with earth as the Dr. just for different reasons.  Plus, no rubber suit—at least most of the time.

Day 14:  The Villain who scared you the most

Weeping Angel

The weeping angels from Blink.  Mostly because of that final montage with the voice over “Don’t Blink!”.

Okay, so I think I am caught up for now.  Hope I am not boring anyone.

Dr. Who Challenge-Day ?

Okay, so I am a little behind on the Dr. Who Challenge.  So I will just do several days at once.

Day 4: Favorite Dr.

While I like all the doctors (classic series) my favorite would be Dr. number 7; Sylvestor McCoy.  He added a bit of mystery to the character and a mean streak.  But he also took on a father type role to Ace, who, if what she said about her mother was correct, had no one who had any faith in her.  And given the improved stories he had at the end I think McCoy’s run as Dr. was cut short.

Day 5: Favorite Companion

Ace is my all time favorite companion.  She was never a screamer, she was smart though she didn’t really know it, and she blew things up, “Wicked.”.  The next in line would be Sarah Jane, she had a great relationship with Tom Baker’s Dr. and called him on his dramatics from time to time.

Day 6: Tickles your fancy

Dr. Who Day 3

Couldn’t get online last night so two in a row.

My favorite New Series episode.  I haven’t actually seen all that many, but Blink would have to be liked best of the ones I have watched.  Especially that last bit with the statue montage and voice-over.

Dr. Who Day 2

My favorite Classic Episode?  I think that The Curse of Fenric and Ghostlight are neck in neck.  But I have a great fondness for the bad episodes, in spite of bad writing and bad special effects.  The Five Doctors holds a place in my heart.
